Our World trapped in DISGRACE

Disgrace was all I could feel at that moment...

We live in a world, 

full of disgrace.

Each day we go through,

the things we have to outface.

There are days when,

we are crushed.

And those days, 

we say are unjust.

There are days when,

we are shamed.

And those days,

we get terribly blamed. 

We live in a world,

full of disgrace.

But here I am ready to face,

the things I have to chase.

Author's Note

This poem came to me unexpectedly. I was driving with my mom to the store, when I saw a women who was about to burst into tears, while the man (who was driving) had an I-Really- Don't-Care-if-this-Woman-begins-to-cry face. There was a toddler boy who was in the backseat sleeping. In that moment, I started to understand how the world is full of shame, disgust, anger, hate, and Disgrace. This is what inspired me to write this poem. I hope you understand how I felt, when I saw that woman.
