This ultimatum

Is your creation

You hurt me when I stay

But it hurts to walk away

We were simply too close

To take all this and dispose

It hurts me to hate you

Because I still care about you

I try to keep my distance

But when I see you it weakens my resistance

No matter which way I go

Your memory will surely follow

I LOVED the line "you hurt me when I stay but it hurts to walk away". It perfectly summarizes how it feels relationships get complicated. As usual, outstanding job!
