I don’t know

I find myself crying almost every night

And the pain continued to cause my anger to ignite

What am I doing?

I don’t know

I feel like I drift from day to day on my own

Any purpose I once had is no longer known

What am I doing?

I don’t know

God please show me the way

Don’t let these burdens on my soul continue to weigh

NOTES: I don't think strict meter and rhyme are required for poetry. However, when rhyme is used, I do feel that a balanced meter helps the lines.
