A New Age

I’ve woken up to ash and dust

All I’ve known has been reduced to rust

And all I once found beautiful fills me with disgust

Welcome to the new age

I’ve been let out of my cage

My old ways are gone

As my Lord broke those bonds

But as I look at all this coming change

I can’t help but feel quite estranged

I’m not going to lie, it frightens

But to my soul I know it’ll ripen

So I pray to God for strength

I pray he’ll be my defense

This will be a new age

Full of change needing to be engaged

New Faith is as scary as it is fulfilling. Just remain founded in Scripture. Read the Word and study it: understand what you believe and why, for yourself.

Yeah, that's what God is really showing me right now. He's really showing me that I need to know my faith for myself and the more I study his Word the more things I find I need to change in my life :P
