It doesn't have to take verbose language to express emotion. For example, the shortest verse, John 11:35, in the Bible, speaks such volumes of Christ's compassion, love, and connection to humanity with just two words, "Jesus wept." Sometimes, you can say so much more with few words than an entire book could contain.
