How could I not fall in love with you?

When it was you who felt the need to pull from my shell

How could I not fall for you?

When God used you to pull from my own personal hell

How could I not fall in love?

When you entranced me with your spell

When you were there for me in my darkest hour

How could I not fall for you?

When it was you who helped me find God’s power

How could I not fall in love?

When you were one of the ones who saved me from my lonely tower

I find it very effective that you have repeated the same question every other line. I find it really portrays your passion and allows the reader to feel this passion also.
This is a poem with great fluidity which makes it an easy read. However, the piece seems to be describing a stressful situation; I feel as though the fluidity and stress are a bit of a clash.
Overall, I did really enjoy reading this poem and I think it is well written- well done :)
