YOU CAN’T STOP ME!!!

 

I’m here following the Christ

But the world wants to beat me down

It’s like on my life it has placed a price

And it buries me in distractions till I may drown

But my God is stronger

And I’ll follow him for even longer

 

That’s why I say: YOU CAN’T STOP ME!!!

 

Sometimes I am my own worst enemy

Voices in my head are constantly whispering

Taking away from God’s clarity

And when I try to focus on what matters most they start whistling

But his spirit resides within

So the voices are no stronger than tin

 

So I say to the mirror: YOU CAN’T STOP ME!!!

 

I do as my Lord tells me

He is the light of the world

And I’m going down on sin like a murdering spree

Some of the things I’ve done make me want to hurl

But no more

Because I’m on fire for the Lord

Well of course Christ by definition is the opposite of a defeatist also the epitome for slefless love and if you are one serious practicant of faith then well what an archetype. Also worth rememembring though that theological studies will also indicate that his crucifixion at Golgotha made his blood pour and hence the take my body drink my blood. The fire association from his simbolized by our Son and you just somehow managed to bring al lthat theological made it your own and share it with us.
