Dear Mr. ChristianA Poem by DannyisawriterDear Mr. Christian: You tell me I’m such a misfit But I can see you’re such a
hypocrite You tell me to change how I talk To change the way I treat girls You show up in your suit right on
the clock And you flash that smile as white
as pearls But when no one is looking you’re philandering
around And all your words are delivering
wounds You’re a hypocrite and you’ll drown
if you’re found out
Dear Mr. Christian: Aren’t Christians supposed to be
gentle? But you’re so judgmental I don’t dress nice like you And I don’t know as much about the
Bible So automatically your vision of me
goes askew And you’re convinced I can’t be a
disciple You treat me like dirt And you have no regard for the hurt Just wait till you drive me to
revert
Dear Mr. Christian: You ignore the Christian’s duty And act all snooty You hang with your Christian clique As I’m left standing in the cold
alone You ignore me because I’m a “sinner”,
god you’re so thick It’s because of your clique I’m in
the anti-Christian zone You an your friends do everything
together And ignore the kid in the back,
stuck in life’s cruel weather You leave him to be blown around
like a feather
Dear Mr. Christian: I just want to say thank you Because only love is what you spew You always go out of your way to
say hi to me You ask how I’m doing and I can
tell you truly care You live out your faith with glee And you accept me and include me in
your prayer You truly show me the love of Christ Right from God your heart must’ve
been spliced The love you’ve shown me truly can’t
