Note To Self:

You and I go hard into the night

All because you can’t believe anyone loves you

You are like a wounded dog with a nasty bite

Who ever knew?

You need everyone to prove their love

Through and through

You feel the need to test their love thereof

But it never satisfies you

You can never take people at their word

Never will you let someone in

You have been hurt, so your vision is blurred

No one is to be trusted, not even your next akin

You think all your testing

Will find you genuine love

But really all your wrestling

Will leave you alone because you shoved them away

 

If you could just learn

That in God you find rest

Your pain won’t leave you burned

And he’ll give you people to love you without your test

Hard times here but it is remarkable how the fighting spirit here shines through.

This right here:You think all your testing, Will find you genuine love, But really all your wrestling,
Will leave you alone because you shoved them away

Is tought as love does truly requires us to stop wrestling (nice) and accept otherwise people will feel pushed away.

Not that I don't agree but to me the human exploration is not quite finished. And was it a way to bail out? by saying "Stop the fight" let God take care of the rest or a deep acceptance that we can only do so much? See that brings be back to that old thing of : 1%inspiration 99% perspiration.

The 1% is God right?

Great challenge to be in any which way

Thanks for the review. And the whole thing with God in it is that I believe that we can wrestle with ourselves and people all we want, but there is a point that we need to God to help us fully conquer whatever it is we are struggling with :)
