Peace at the BottomA Poem by Danny CoykendallComplaints of shattered dreams of wealth. Money falling from the sky. True value is found in good health. True worth is found when we die. Division is influenced by our head. Religion is a bedtime story. Beliefs only prepare the dead. For an afterlife of glory. Race has driven humanity to hate. Harmony and love we'll never find. Killing each other thus deciding one's fate. Death is colorblind. All anger is an ocean so try not to drown. We need the hatred to stop. The bottom is merely six feet down. Take advantage of being on top. © 2016 Danny CoykendallFeatured Review
