A Sigh

A Sigh

A Poem by Danny Metcalfe

     I ran with wild Angels,

who glowed from the very core of Existence with Virgin Joy.

They rose from the mountains of the Moon like large white doves!

I embraced the Dawns of their lifted veils and ascended into the sweet aroma of Astral air.

The structures of Life were shaped by High-formed harmonic waves and the orchestral power rang in unison with the melodies of my Higher Senses. What splendour! I spoke with Artists of matter who performed for me a ballet of Thought upon the stage of the Mind

As the Marriage of Fruit and Star entwined in a kiss of Light!

My sigh echoed with Holy force.

Has the sound of a mystical experience or a good LSD trip. The images are outsized, as are the emotions described, and one would wish to participate in such a phenomenon. It could only be for a while, though. No mind is equipped to handle something like this for extended periods.
