In an Opulent Spring.

In an opulent spring I swam among fields of baptism, my breathing was deep and rhythmic

in accordance with higher law; I composed a music of liberty and wept at the spectacle! It was the shattering of my senses, the melodious roar of love!

I climbed the pillar of faith and found the mountains of wisdom. 

I unified the drama of spirit and matter; the storm of Sodom was no more! The genie of the gorges bespoke the gospel; the harmonic centre. The real sun of earth!

Those creatures of dreams at war with the self; the self which is at war with that which is not the self…their shadows their idols and I knew the fever of such violence. They yearn for the starry

death but do not understand the heavenly sky!

I have felt the sombre pleasure of that still air…Like the alchemist in the garden of paradise. I formed my dreams in the tuneful eye of its sunset,

expressing the codes of scented sounds.
