Tomorrow Will Not Wait

Haunting and sadistic is the nature of your doubt
hovering above you as if to deny you the warmth of the Sun.
many of your fantasies, hopes and desires have fallen.
Fallen into the salty waves of your tears
that are slashing against the shores of your soul.

Within Tomorrows are the days
that can only be reached from today.
Hiding and dodging wearing the mask of love
teasing you with visions of candles and silk.
Run quickly into sleep and the doorway to your visions.

Stand strong against the intimidating winds,
hold fast to all that you are.
Love, life and death are not to be conquered.
Embrace them with the entirety of self.
Hold them close and be witness to their natural path.

Forgive of yourself your mistakes and feel the cleansing
wash over you. Sit and re-visit your memories, but stay not long,
for Tomorrow will not wait.
