Sunny Blackpool

Sunny Blackpool

A Poem by DannyGraves

Broken homes
Lights of autumn
Alcohol abuse rampant
Children for child support
Knowledge not valued
People apathetic
Obscene culture
Outcasts by the sea
Living, barely.

An excellent acrostic. I've only been to Blackpool twice and that was 30 years ago. Is it that bad now? Back then it was a typical northern seaside resort.

Wow. This was incredible. It really captured how bad the world is today. I really enjoyed this and I’m excited to read more of your poetry :)
