Guilt

Guilt

A Poem by Danny

She was always simply herself
and he loved her for that.
He loved all her good things,
he loved all her bad things.
She was like unbrushed diamond
that doesn't need to be brushed.
He loved her because of all her imperfections,
he loved her because of all her bad manners.
He was the only one to knew her truly side,
the real her.
He was there when she was smiling,
he was there when she was crying.
Until, one moment when she truly needed him
he wasn't there;
he wasn't there for her.
