Dark wind

Dark wind

A Poem by Danny
"

Inspired by the Japanese death poems, warriors and samurai.

"
Once the sun shone upon my land;
land full of valleys and hills,
land full of hope.

Now, that hope is gone;
taken by mysterious dark wind,
wind full of anger and hate.

Oh great wind, I accept my death!
Let the cold wind take my soul;
to my sacred home.

IInd phrase`s full of insights. The last one has many diversions for "love" but still dispersing the shades in the sky. Nice imagery.

An angry read of abandoning oneself to fate…

I have an edit in line one, though: "Once the sun [shone] upon my land;"
