A Poem by Complex Disaster

Hours slip through my hands, they never cease to shake
Heat sifts from my bones, they never cease to ache
Creativity rots, and washes into the sea
Someone snuffed the flame that used to burn in me
The sun I saw as a child, will never shine again
And I would give my soul to not be dead within
This world has fed me lies and washed my heart away
Blackened be my eyes as I die another day
Holes burned in a head that used to hold a dream
It wilted long ago, drowned out by a shallow stream
Never to be mourned
Forgotten with the best
Never to be mourned
These dreams have been laid to rest
It's f*****g hopeless
