Withering generationA Poem by Complex DisasterAbout someone I knew when I was younger who died too soon.
The front page read "it's over"
That you'd saw your better days We never got much closer And it hurts my soul to this day I saw you from far afar Wandering this world like me And though we were so much different I knew you wouldn't fill your needs Your eyes would always sparkle Shining quiet but full of life With a voice that rang soft but well heard In a time when deafening had us all Your silence rang louder than words Wherever you went you brought a smile So shy and misunderstood I wont forget when you first said hello © 2011 Complex Disaster |
