Withering generation

Withering generation

A Poem by Complex Disaster
"

About someone I knew when I was younger who died too soon.

"
The front page read "it's over"
That you'd saw your better days
We never got much closer
And it hurts my soul to this day
I saw you from far                              afar
Wandering this world like me
And though we were so much different
I knew you wouldn't fill your needs

Your eyes would always sparkle
Shining quiet but full of life
With a voice that rang soft but well heard
In a time when deafening had us all                   Your silence rang louder than words
Wherever you went you brought a smile

So shy and misunderstood
I wont forget when you first said hello
