fearA Poem by Complex DisasterI've been here for a while I came a long way to find you Wherever you've gone I followed close behind you The ground could rot beneath your feet I'd still haunt you Escape is not an action I have taught you And I'm not leaving anytime soon I'm far from done with you I know you better Than these mirrors do I'll make all of your nightmares bloom The day you were born I stared in the eyes of a dead man I watched you grow old And killed all your dreams with my bare hands I loomed over you and painted your darkest hours I struck a nerve in you from day one As your nightmares bloomed Do you know who I am? I'm everyone's friend I'll stand by your grave I'm there until the end
