Love, Loss and Love Again

Love, Loss and Love Again

A Poem by Danna Castro

The feel of you holding me close,
The thought of you being mine
And the sight of you not saying goodbye.

The feeling of dropped emotions,
The thought of entering depression
And the sight of you waving goodbye.

The feel of your warmth once again,
The thought of you being mine once again
And the sight of an endless nightmare coming to an end.

The feel of you just fooling around,
The thought of you simply trying to pull me down
And the sight of you moving on, for now.

I feel your pain. I actually started crying while reading this. Lovely words.

Like life, love is a roller coaster. Best thing to do is to hold on and enjoy the ride. Getting off once in a while is not necessarily a bad thing as long as we are aware of the other half's feelings. That's where emotions start to mess with our minds; what price,sentience?........ A very nice and emotional poem, warmly depicting why there are flowers and Hallmark Greeting cards, thank you
