Tiny ToesA Poem by DanieOh those tiny toes
Ignorance,
From the truth is powerful. Tiny toes tapple across glistening fields and shiny streams, As they do not know, Not yet anyhow, What it is like to have true heartbreak. What it is like to understand death. What it is like to be plauged by anxieties and stress. About the future, about the past. About the now, about being last. These tiny toes, Only think of now. How their plum faces smile when they see their friends at school, Only worrying about having the next go on the bike. These tiny toes only view life as a beautiful playground, Shielded by the ones who aren't ignorant. These tiny toes are safe, For now, Ignorance is bliss. © 2017 DanieAuthor's Note
