unfinished wirting deep thoughts

Strength is what i claim to gain,
as my tears fall like rain.
Angers burning deep with in my soul!
Losing sight of my goals....
Emotions,
creating internal commotions!

I haven't tried syllable counting and definitely lose track of where the poem was going How does syllable counting work

Reads as if you were running out of both ideas and rhymes, could be wrong mind.
Do you ever try syllable counting to get an even flow or is that not your bag ??
