The HuntA Poem by Danielle ThiletteThis Poem is based on the movie and book White Oleander.I see through a hunter's eyes bold with my aim naked in my innocence strong in stance I back down for no one. No one man will bring me to my knees. We are the vikings. I regret nothing. I see nothing. Though I feel everything. Sweetness lured you to this honey bee unaware of her harsh sting. She creeps up like the clouds. I see through hunter's eyes. Alone deserted. Its alright. You cannot escape lonliness. You cope. You let it mold you. Let it create independence in your heart and a tsunami in your mind. Killing. Destroying hope. Believe in you. Nothing and No One else matters. A poison so sweet you drink it just to die float to heaven and drink it again. Under control and never dull. © 2008 Danielle Thilette |
