The Proposal

The Proposal

A Poem by Danielle Thilette

Reinvent me with wisdom. Disassemble my negatives. Suffocate my distractions. Be inside my mind. Construct me hard as steel no penetration to the shatter beneath. Hide me in innocence. Escape with me from here under the gate and over the bridge into a relm of secrecy. I hold it not a sin forget what you know belong to me exist with me. Venerate me. Treat me with delicacy love me tenderly. Never forget me. Lie awake with me lie dying beside me never let me go.

Wow! Some proposal! Id take that one instead of the traditional wedding vows anytime ... Much more powerful and compelling. xxx
