BeastA Poem by Danielle ReneeObservations split apart like cells divided when I heard him utter such asinine ideals. He was once a man of wisdom until I flourished like a blossom in the spring. I soon began to realize how blind he truly was, and how unlike he was what he claimed to be. He was a monster. A beast blinded by greed, taking advantage of those who knew nothing of his past or intentions. He claimed innocence instead of corruption, honesty instead of lies. He robbed the world of its beauty and stole the light from the eyes he touched. He is a monster, a beast, and now he has come back for more.
