Like Mother

Like Mother

A Poem by Danielle Renee

I only see her in you,
your face,
your words,
it’s all the same.
There is no line
between mother
and daughter,
you refuse to believe.
Your careless actions
will catch up to you,
whether it be in health
or an unexpected gift.
