Devil's Work

Devil's Work

A Poem by Danielle Renee

All words are a waste.
Now anger slithers on your tongue,
Bitter cursing to hopeless creatures
And spitting fire onto faces.
You’re the riot that comes quickly,
Crashing the pits of boneless men,
Destroying the passion of an artist
You’re the devil’s work in progress.
