Beauty Isn't Everything

Beauty Isn't Everything

A Poem by Danielle Renee

Realization flashes
through your glass
eyes as you take
in the scars that
cover limbs of
porcelain and
you understand
that she isn’t
made of beauty,
but that she is
more than beauty.

beautiful :) short, sweet, and very meaningful. the concept of beauty has become so warped and artificial nowadays, when really beautiful people are comprised of more than one simple aspect. and, of course, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. great write

So true, it is a mess how beauty has become such an issue these days. And even then, some have that taken from them, it is the beauty of a persons soul that should be defined, very well done i enjoyed reading this.

So true. A person is comprised of many things, the surface being only one small piece of the human pie.
