Haunted

Haunted

A Poem by Danielle Renee

Invisible men
stand at bedsides
raising goose bumps
on sleepy children.
The soft thud
of foot steps
is hear by
the smallest ears.
Blankets are
pulled up to
chins and over
heads and feet
are tucking in
tightly. The
only protection
of creatures in
the night is
hiding.
