Midnight

Midnight

A Poem by Danielle Renee

Midnight moon casts
light on cracking
skins as stars hang
like eerie splatters
throughout the sky.
Whispers of the
vacant flow through
bare branches of
dying willows,
creating a soothing
melody that plays
like a lullaby.
