Denial

I've been fighting
so hard to deny
the biggest part
of myself, just to make
you all happy and
free of my "sinful"
burdens.
I'm sure you all know,
but refuse to believe
because you're afraid
it will mess up the
perfect little world
you live in.

I've been there. It is hard trying to make everyone happy. You come to realize that the only one you have to impress is yourself. Great Job!
