Wicker Brain

Wicker Brain

A Poem by Danielle Renee

Lacey thoughts

and crimson rings

cover everything

your eye sees.

Knights in bronze

armor, all in

stampede,

tumble over edge.

Down, down, down into your wicker brain.

The visual in this was wonderful! A fantastic work of both wise awareness as well as blunt viewpoint. Much enjoyed!

From one self proclaimed dork to another: I loved the title of this poem, it immediately drew me in. The simplicity of the words were perfect for the concept you were trying to get across. I enjoyed reading it!

The simplicity of this piece is inspiring--your imagery is not intricate, but its boldness adds something else entirely to the poem. Beautiful.
