Our Wordls Collided

Our Wordls Collided

A Poem by Danielle Renee

Our worlds collided,

each one destroyed the other.

Chaos was provided

and we began to smother.

The skies caught fire,

the buildings came after.

Flames grew higher

and ceased the laughter.

Everything fell

and turned to rubble.

All was hell,

all was trouble.

Everything we discovered

began to fade.

Our footsteps were covered,

only ashes stayed.

A very cool poem. Made me think of an apocalyptic scnee. Not sure if that was the intent, but there you go. The poem itself was very well written and cativating. The overall flow of the poem was good as well.
