A sunny day in early march when light wispy clouds floated on gracefully high in the sky, basking in the hot warmth provided by the sun. For such an early time of year everyone far below the clouds were surprised as well as pleased, of course a few people were annoyed, as their summer outfits not ready I myself, was without sunglassess. Despite these minor issues, everybody was smiling, strolling through town on his lunch break was a young man with the name of Tim.

Tim was an average you man working in a bank named Halifax, generally liked by his co-workers and his boss's liked him because he got his work done, whilst having a laugh which meant he rarely got bored or complacent. However this day was different, he wasn't bored just a little distracted, thinking about something else of importance perhaps. Or maybe a silly little day dream, he thought a coffee was just what he needed to awaken his dozy, distracted brain.

After ordering his coffee, he rubbed his eyes noticing a fresh tiredness creeping inside. The barista behind the bar annouced, "large cappuccino takeaway" the calm voice of a man with a name badge that read, 'Mike' he looked around twenty-eight, "Oh that's mine." Tim said, his eyes opening suddenly fighting off the tiredness,

"Here we go, enjoy your day sir" the man said pleasantly,

"Thanks Dad." Tim said as he turned and walked out, thinking about where to grab his lunch from.

In that coffee shop that Tim just left, it's been a fine day a little busier, more customers than expected but all the employees have kept their cool. Looking out at the sun can be just about as much fun as being in the sun, the expression of pleasant enjoyment is often an infectious one. The next customer in line was waiting for a small black americano, Mike filled a small china cup of hot water, "Did he just say Dad?" The older gentleman asked in a puzzled tone. Mike chuckled to himself as he despensed coffee grind into a two shot coffee holder, "you know, he said as he inserted the holder into the coffee machine, "i was just thinking that!?" Mike said, as he pushed a button to start the water flowing and espresso began pouring out of the coffee holder, into the plain hot water,

"Yes, yes i definitely heard him say 'Dad,' I thought, you look to young to be a dad, no offense intended" the man said, the confused expression clear in his tone of voice,

"No, no offense taken, it's saying i look young" Mike said lifting the freshly made coffee over to the gentleman's saucer, "that's what i figured, the gentleman said smiling kindly "thank you" he said picking up his black coffee,

"No problem, enjoy your day Dad." Mike said smiling, the gentleman laughed as he walked away to get some sugar sashes.

Meanwhile Tom had picked up a sandwich from sainsburys and he was walking back to work already thinking of the succulent tastes contained within the sandwich, even his feet were picking up speed. He reached the front doors of Halifax and stopped quite suddenly realising, "Did i say Dad?" Suddenly he was very confused as he tried to remember and work out what had happened. He continued walking into work and with a slightly unsettled feeling in his stomach, he entered the break room to enjoy his sandwich all the while thinking, "what was it i said..."
