This is about to fall

This is about to fall

A Poem by Daniel James Cardis
"

How do you remain hopeful when all seems lost? When all you want is normality, to have things back how they once were, To carry on can be a question of how?

"
You're falling down tunnel, now stop.
You're imagining a way, and you stop,
You can't escape through the drift of thoughts,
You stop.
You're imagining again and you find yourself, that you have stopped,
Your escapism has managed to escape you and, guess what?

It'll continue to do so until you do only you know what.
____________

You can't break now,
You can't break.

But i can't stop shaking,
The nerves tremble,
To simply type is a challenge.

You can't break, he needs you,
The best thing is too not break.

You can't understand though,
I break, i feel nerves and i fall down,
So you never have to,
Can't it be you who 'steers' right now?

No i'm afraid i can't,
Im keeping you up, holding you so you don't break.

This i did not know.

Well of course i wouldn't tell,
I'm the one who maintains the shell,
The one who guides-

But couldn't you help?

Only by screaming my dear and this would not help.
