Ready, steady, go!

Ready, steady, go!

A Poem by Daniel Dawes
"

A day unfolding......

"
The engine starts,
As I step from my bed,
A petrol unknown,
A force in my head.

An unknown day,
Born to this world,
In which we sing,
And dance and swirl.

For this is the game,
And from which we must learn,
A light and a love,
and a flame that must burn.

The tune to some,
Seems to send them quite mad,
With a reflection of self,
In a thought that's gone bad.

Allowing things to pass,
As if gliding on ground,
Is a soul in a body,
What grace, what's found.

It's hidden in a mystery,
From which we must awake,
I climb out of the bed once more,
But this time I'm no fake.

I see a lot of my 'Acknowledge the Fall' in this one :) funny how we seem to bounce along the same sunbeam.... I will give you the advice other's have given me ... instead of 'telling people' how it is find the mataphors so they can see their own unique message or imagery.
