ALL THAT I WANT TO GET BACK

ALL THAT I WANT TO GET BACK

A Poem by Racy Daniel

I want to get back the moment

When I was a just born baby

Then all people would love me

Everyone gave a sweet smile seeing me.

I want to get back the time

When my mother kissed me

Kept me in her lap

Holding me strongly

I want to get back the days

When my mother spent a lot of nights

Without sleeping

Just to look after me.

I want to get back the days

When my mother taught

To walk

By holding my finger

I want to get back the days

When my father used to

Take me take me to his neck

And wander around the lovely place.

I want to get back the days

When I didn’t know how to speak

Then my mother taught me to speak

Little word like mother, mama, father, etc

I want to get back my childhood

When I enjoyed so much

In that I was so pure and

Sinless like a sweet baby

I want to get back the days

When I didn’t know many things

In that time I was like an angel

As now I know many things I make mistake.

I want to get back the days

When my friends would

Love me very much

By holding my hands and neck we would dance.

All that I want to get back

Because now I don’t have all this things

Now nobody cares for me

No one loves me

No one holds my hands

No one kiss me

No one take me to his/her lap

Now I am no more pure hearted

Now I am no more sinless

Now I am no more sweet baby

Now what I can do, then I couldn’t do

But what I was then, now I am no more

Many people miss the innocent days of being a child. You will not ever be able to make the world happy. My Daddy told me if you count five people on your hand that will always be there for you, no matter what, then you are the richest person in the world. We as humans will always make mistakes, will always sin. But there is forgiveness and there is happiness. Each person just has to find it for themselves. Just don't lose hope. It's okay to remember the good days. Cherish them, but don't dwell. Find happiness in the present or make room for it in the future ^_^

this is sad and nostalgic. perhaps you would find someone to love you if you weren't so preoccupied with the past.

I guess some would long for those days...but it is better to grow and move on..this is what we are made to do...

This is so very sad. All of us want to get back what we once had. Even though we've gained so much, learned so much, done so much--yet is isn't as much as we were.
