Wherever You Go...

 Wherever you go, I will be there,

to comfort you when hope is impaired.

I’d be your air when you cannot breathe,

to be your hero in the worst of your dreams.

Whenever you leave, I will follow,

I will carry you when the sun dives low.

You won’t have to walk in the darkest nights,

I hope that, somehow, I will be your light.

Whatever path you take, I will take too,

I will try to be a guardian to you.

I will hold you tight when nothing is right,

I will try to do everything, try to better your life.

Whoever you will be, I will love you,

even when I know I may be gone soon.

So, I will give you a sign that I am still here,

even after I have been gone, my dear.

Beautiful. Deep and emotional. I will try, yet again, to review this to the standard it was written, but will fail as I so often do.

What you wrote in this is very relateable to some. Some people do need the comfort of knowing the ones that we love will always be there, wherever we go. This is an exceptional write, and seems to be quite perfect in my eyes.
