Star Gazing: Scene 7

A Screenplay by Daniel Contreras IV

Spencer’s House- Int.-- Day

Cut to a close up of a baggie of some drug in someones hand. Pan out to reveal it to be Spencer. In front of him is Daniel.

Daniel
Spencer, is that what I think it is?

Spencer
Depends, what do you think it is?

Daniel
I’m thinking it’s some type of heroin.

Spencer
Then you would be correct. China White heroin to be exact. All the way from Mexico.

Daniel
Damn. Hey, Spencer, it’s been fun with the weed and coke, but I don’t know about heroin man, I gotta draw the line somewhere.

Spencer
No, idiot, I don’t want you to use... I want you to sell.

Daniel
Wait, you think I would assume you would want me to sell it for you before you’d want me to use with you?

Spencer
What? Yeah. Whatever, can you?

Daniel
I’ve never sold anything in my life, and you want me to sell heroin?

Beat

Spencer
... Yeah

Daniel
I don’t know anything about the stuff.

Spencer
I was about to tell you... Okay, so my guy said that it was about 90 bucks a gram. He said that some people would ask for a Mexican ounce, that’s 25 grams. Sell that for 400. But what you’ll be selling most is just a small 2 or 3 hitter bag, which is 10 bucks. And then there’s a kilo, you’ll never have that much. That’s about 20,000. But that’s if I was a drug lord. (He snickers)

Daniel
Well you’re on you’re way.

Spencer
So what’s the deal, you in or what?

Daniel
I can’t. I really do have to draw the line somewhere.

Daniel
Alright, and that’s 10. There you go. See ya.

Drug Addict
(Smiles) Thanks. See ya.

Daniel Turns and leaves.

Wow man.... this is pretty messed up... but I'm guessing you've drawn some inspiration from trainspotting? though I've never seen it, it seems like a similar type story. If its tastefully done, i think this could be a good idea for a good cult movie
