Hmmm... I say, as I ponder
What shall I screw up today
What opportunity will I squander

Hmmm... I say as she walks by
not knowing how I feel
not knowing I'm alive

But yet, I will continue to carry on
For tomorrow is a new day, and I've learned to trust the dawn
I don't let a feeling carry over, and I don't hold a grudge
Everyone makes mistakes, and who am I to judge
I, especially, am prone to flaws
A lot of bad may happen, but I will continue to carry on

Hmmm... I say as the sun does set
another mistake was made
 but no, I will not fret

Hmmm... As I look my last glance
looking forward to tomorrow
looking forward to another chance

I enjoy how you convey the bad occurrences that we all experience in life, and how you allow yourself the consideration of tomorrow being a bright and better day. A fine poem contradicting the individuals who believe that no light will shine through the eternal night sky.
