Wandering SunA Poem by Dani CaliforniaWhat do you think about.... ?
Gazing at clouds embracing the sky,
Her voice spoke sadly of days gone by; She sketched the future and feared its form, Predicting its rain before the storm. No sunlight to wander; No flowers to ponder; Only clouds of grey Led her thoughts astray. Painting the sky in colors that bled, Its poisonous rain is coming she said; The winds are blowing this way I fear, Yes, a storm is most certainly near. No sunlight to wander; No flowers to ponder; Only clouds of grey Led her thoughts astray. Then her mind became quiet While her thought ceased its riot; From the clouds rained the light, Splitting open the night. Now the sunlight wandered, And the flowers she pondered; The new colors so vibrant It subdued her mind's tyrant. © 2012 Dani CaliforniaFeatured Review
