A Poem by Dani California

Comes forth doubt
From good intention
Unguarded thought
Changed direction

With a heavy heart

She turns away
No longer defending
All she tried to say

So much said with so little words, I'm always a fan of that.

It conveys so much. All the key words are so... KEY. "Unguarded" and "Doubt" and what not, all such important ideas in peoples lives. I love poetry that can speak to anyone in whatever moment that they happen to be in. This is like that I think.

Sometimes we just have to turn and go, in spite of what we know in hearts to be true! Well put Dani!

You're so deep, Dani. I like that.

Funny how we change without ever meaning to.... Letting go of what can't ever be...

Deeply felt.... Theme is remarkable...

A short poem but it makes such an impact!
I wish i could convey so much within only two verses.
I love this one Danielle, tho it is filled with a sadness and resignation.
