I noticed not how the dew carefully bathes the rose before it trickles from its petals; Or how its limbs reach for the sky when summoned by the sun's warm breath; Or how the gentle breeze provokes the tree leaves to dance without reason; Or the endless compassion of each wave as it chooses to retreat; Or the continuous melody of the birds through cold, shelterless winters; Or how the earth's soil gives life long before it buries it; No, I noticed not these glorious wonders that surround me every day;
And then I met you.
