Quintessence

Quintessence

A Poem by Dani California

I want to see you,

Know you,

Gaze into your eyes,

See beyond

Your protective disguise.

I want to feel you,

Touch you,

Caress your face,

Safe within

Your tender embrace.

I want to kiss you,

Taste you,

Trace your lips,

With gentle

Loving fingertips.

I want to love you,

Breathe you,

Inhale your essence,

Remaining forever

Passionate quintessence.

Well, you certainly are not one to judge a book by it's cover! As your poems proceeds you see the beauty whithin. This is writtten with such a loving tenderness and subtlity emerging into sensuality that the flow is flawless and ultimately passionate!

Wow, kind of similar to the fantasy poem i wrote before. It's as if he's there, but you can't quite touch him yet, and you long for him. HOW PASSIONATE!! i loved it Dani.

Perfectly written lines. I want exactly the same things, too. I love this and I'm putting it in my Favorites right now! Thank you, Dani, for writing this. It was simply lying inside my heart, beating, until you breathed it into life. How ever did you know? ;)

WOH! Now that is passion!!!! I wonder if he knows just how deep your love is for him?

I want to kiss you,

Taste you,

Trace your lips,

With gentle

Loving fingertips.

This was my favorite stanza, although the whole poem flowed beautifully.Really really liked it.

Beautiful ode to the final element of nature, Quintessence. Love and spirit, both are encompassed by this piece. Excellent job. :)
