Reminding everyone of the dangers lurking online. I've fallen prey to lies online in the past myself ... so just be wise, and be careful. I also want to make it clear that I am not stating here that only men are online predators... there are plenty of women who are as well. I just wrote it from a female perspective. But there are no limits to who the young boy could be, either. So my friends, heed that inner voice... the right one! lol
Peace.

Telling this tale was right on time. Raising public awareness...reminding us all that a problem exists.
Great write! Good job, Dani. It's funny, all these reviews...yet I don't see one from a man, although, I have to wonder how many men have read it, but DID NOT respond! Hmmm...
What a great way to make a statement! Very beautifully and poetically written. Nicely done!

thats a good yes the internet is a dangerous place ,i know one British chat place, which really frightened me,it told me -called UK chatterbox-this place is extremely dangerous ,i was really afraid, but its not only men who are the brutes ,i was harassed by women too, some asking money in a very hidious way,so as LiLi said down there is not all true, its both genre who could really hurt you ,and how could you tell a man from a woman ,thats why these places ,like WC ,is much more secure, but not all the time, this piece is a reminder and its good ,i do not know if you had anything else on your mind, good job here
You have addressed a very real problem on the internet and this is a warning all must heed. I wonder how many innocent young girls are drawn into this, trusting a man who deliberately preys on the innocent young women? Thanks for sharing the warning. Eye opening, especially for those that might be in a situation now that is similar. Blessings, Carole
A sign of the times, Dani and I think we all can relate to the mesmerizing buzz of someone who seems to feed our senses and our needs all at once. I've even fallen prey in real life, so easy is the temptation. A warning couched in lovely verse!
I must say you painted quite the picture. Almost like a lost scribe.
Many use the internet to prey upon people. Most of the time it is men preying upon women whom they feel are weak. They claim to guide them, when they are actually trying to misguide them. Even the most evil will hide behind what appears as roses.... when we all know roses are dangerous to the touch. Thorns.
Great work. I hope people will be fully aware when this occurs to them
There exists power in this piece, Dani, an incredible amount of power. I particularly am drawn to the symbolism of the photo and how it enhances your meticulously planned diction... Words and their power to capture our hearts, emprison our souls... Therein lies the truth to remember... They are merely words... I truly believe that you can't really know someone until they come out from behind that computer screen into the real world... Seeing a person... Feeling their presence in a room... Those last two lines were perfect...absolutely perfect!!! Perhaps this may help both men and women think deeply before contemplating online romance... The real game is played in the real World...
Thanks for posting this one my dear. It will be among my favs...

Oh this is sage advice - no doubt about it. This is well written with the tempo of a wagging finger - don't do this - don't fall for that..... Good words here.
A Noiseless Patient Spiderby Walt Whitman
A noiseless patient spider,
I mark'd where on a little promontory it stood isolated,
Mark'd how to explore the vacant vast surrounding,
It launch'd fort.. more..
