This is another collab with Robin, one of mutual understanding of truth that we wanted to share
What does one do when darkness falls?
There's no bungee cord, no security pad
To protect us from its deadly impact
"Fast and Furious" doesn't cut it, this is Fear
You'd better recognize! It's standing right here!
It didn't just arrive, by the way, It became you!
When you led it straight to what you "didn't want"
That's how desire works you, didn't you see?
That insatiable Orbit of Worlds in your presence
Do you remember which planet owns your essence?
Embrace what is true and rid yourself of not you
Who would you rather leave the choices to?
The voice of fear whose words keep you in the dark
Listen closer, there's another voice you left in park
Engage your True for it leads you to freedom,
Again, it was a pleasure collabing with such a gifted writer who shines bright with his messages. Thank you Robin, and thank you everyone for reading.... :) Peace.

"Embrace what is true and rid yourself of not you
Who would you rather leave the choices to? " Great lines. We must be alert and know what is really best for us and not believe every spirit that pulls at our desires. "Test the spirits and see if".."for not every spirit is of God" Yes we must be wise with our desires. Thanks for the reminder.
I like this. Struggling through the darkness, striving learning and falling, getting up and trying again. We are all exactly who we are at a particular time, who and what we were yesterday is not who and what we will be tomorrow, and yet in the search for who and what we are, we continually lose ourselves.
If we followed the lead in a Patsy Cline song and "Stop, Look and Listen" then maybe we'd find the truth of ourselves.
Deep and a very good between you both - well done.
Wow!! This was like....*sigh*
Awesome!! Superb!! Such deep thinking, put to words in very impressive way. It strikes chard in the reader's mind starting from the first line. And the whole structure of the poem is very bold. I find it a very powerful write...
Very Well done, Dani...
This was simply amazing!! (whoops! I forgot to look up new words) ;)
VERY WELL DONE!!!
I love it! It has great feelings of confusion and fear, and they often do guide your path. (Not You, you. Just You in general) I liked the last stanza in particular:
"Embrace what is true and rid yourself of not you
Who would you rather leave the choices to?
The voice of fear whose words keep you in the dark
Listen closer, there's another voice you left in park
Engage your True for it leads you to freedom"
Each of goes through identity crises throughout our lifetimes. I like the feeling in this poem of just letting go, and the freeing of the soul from what fear leads us to. We need to be reminded constantly of who we truly are beyond what we believe ourselves to be. Nice collaboration!! Much love to everyone.....
A Noiseless Patient Spiderby Walt Whitman
A noiseless patient spider,
I mark'd where on a little promontory it stood isolated,
Mark'd how to explore the vacant vast surrounding,
It launch'd fort.. more..
