Where Souls Touch

Where Souls Touch

A Poem by Dani California

A mere glimpse

Took me on a journey

Through your eyes

Whence I could see

An enchanting light

Emanating your beauty

Old fears now faded

Behind the light of courage

Old sorrow

Blissfully removed

By the light of joy

Old heartache

Cast aside

By the light of new love

Take me there

Don’t let me leave

In your heart I will lay

Please, let me stay

Forever in that place

Where truth resides

Joy is endless

Love is unmeasured

Oh how I need you

To take me there

To that wondrous place...

Where souls touch

To that wondrous place
Where souls touch

Loved it all....your words touch the deepest measure of a soul. Wonderfully written.

What wondrous strange fire has lit the kindle spark in thee? You have scorched the pearly gates with this and given bored St.Peter a bleedin' Tan! I know there is such a place, wait a moment, I'll fetch you my address, we'll want to meet for Tea when you arrive...;)))) I love this ode to love again and again and again! Beautiful Inspiration!

Such beauty, Dani. What a touching piece. I can nearly feel it, the touching of the souls, the yearning for it. Such an emotional being are you. :) Nicely done!

really sweet piece. it honestly makes me think of children, and their innocence, and how they take us places other human beings can not.

i was at a worship service today where the leaders expounded uon this fact a couple times - and even offered that the children were perhaps the center of our healing, and had healing powers, etc... because of their innocence and open loving hearts. this piece made me think of that. great job :)

Strong impact.

It explains a lot on glimpses, stares, and such. I did not get to understand its impact until this piece.

Good form, good flow, good choice of words, well painted imagery. Very well imparted message.

A good piece.
