Take me there
Don't let me leave
In your heart I will lay
Please, let me stay
Forever in that place
Where truth resides
Joy is endless
Love is unmeasured
Oh how I need you
To take me there
To that wondrous place
Where souls touch
Loved it all....your words touch the deepest measure of a soul. Wonderfully written.
Hi Dani,
This is a beautiful poem and well worth the time you have spent dreaming into being the right words to put on paper that come from your heart.
Love is almost like breathing in that we cannot live without it and would die if we wondered too far and also it is an endless chain attached to all of us, keeping us bound to it., so we can fly and be free.
"Old sorrow
Blissfully removed
By the light of joy"
I like this part because love brings renewing of the spirit. Peace.
Do you have the gift of EMAPTHY? It would seem so, by the looks of this piece. To really love another you must feel them. Sometimes feeling another is painful, somtimes it is the most beautiful thing you can ever experiance...
The last two lines packed one hell of an emotional punch. I'm not much for love poems or really anything about love, it's never been my style but I liked this one. Where souls touch just seems like an almost unattainable place of power and peace, I liked the idea. Great write.
that wonderous place where souls touch..how beautiful. the whole poem flows so well and the words seem perfectly placed. the meaning and feeling are truly deeply felt. another super job.
My eyes were...glued to the screen on this one...I just...wow. This is one of those poems, that gives me a vision of the purest love, when one is with their lover everything just...goes away, everything except that significant other. Beautiful.
this piece has such a great and etheral flow - and I love your phrasing - "where souls touch", simply divine!
Very nicely done my friend! I always get such a peaceful feeling reading your work - that's a gift you give to your readers.
A Noiseless Patient Spiderby Walt Whitman
A noiseless patient spider,
I mark'd where on a little promontory it stood isolated,
Mark'd how to explore the vacant vast surrounding,
It launch'd fort.. more..
