From Life until Year

Every second and every year there are things you want to do and want to forget

In a year I try to win from a thousand fears,

In a year I try to keep all my power save,

In a year I cry more than a million tears,

In a year I count every moment I know.

 

In a month I try to smile a lot,

In a month I try to keep my sadness in me,

In a month I try to keep my own spot,

In a month I try to stop hating.

 

In a week I try to be nice,

In a week I try to speak with people

In a week I try not to turn into ice,

In a week I try to have a friend.

 

In a day I try to talk with you,

In a day I try to listen and learn,

In a day I try to see what I do,

In a day I try to get you smile.

 

In my life I went on many ways,

In my life I had so many moments to forget,

In my life I had so many good and bad days,
In my life I still wish to stay the girl I am.

The first and third line are the ones with rhyme, Don't pick me on my grammar stuff I'm a Dutch person and my English is not that perfect..

I know that it is a main part of the poem that the time period is repeated for each line but I found myself skipping past the repetition. Otherwise I feel your poem flowed very well, I like the way it gets smaller time periods and then for the last stanza you use "In my life".
