Over and Over

Over and Over

A Poem by dangerbooze

Left at the altar
She said no
Wasn't ready
Couldn't commit

He threw the ring at me
Said it wasn't right
Not my place but his

Left and Right
Back to Front
There they stand

Stop it
Stop it
You're hurting us

Tired
So tired
Hearts bleeding
Wounds never closed
Never getting
The chance to heal

Don't say it
Those words
No don't!

It's not true
You're lying
Tell us you're lying

Stop
No more
No more!
I hate you
Hate you

We hate you so much

Your caring smile
Tender gaze
And kind words

You're tearing our souls apart.

It wasn't meant to be.
Painful sorrow surrounds
all when this happens
to a relationship.

Great job.

I'm a lazy writer. I write what I feel when I feel like it. But to be more specific, I have a constant case of writer's block about pretty much every thought that I can think of or even consider. .. more..
